WIDEMOUTH BAY
Award winning Widemouth Bay is very long open bay popular with families and surfers and at low tide there are hundreds of rock pools to explore.
Situated just 3 miles south of Bude and accessible along the South West coast path, Widemouth Bay offers fantastic conditions to learn surfing or body-boarding, which is why many of the local surf schools are based there. It has also received the Blue Flag Beach Award 2017.
BUDE
Bude is located on the north Cornwall coast and offers a diverse variety of things to do. Bude is a well established holiday resort with the lovely sandy beach at Summerleaze, to the well served town centre. There are canal walks or boating to enjoy. Bude has excellent Golf links, tennis courts and all other manner of recreational pursuits. Summerleaze beach has a large bathing pool for the non sea lovers and you can enjoy the view from many of the vantage points along the cliff path to Crooklets or south towards Widemouth Bay. Crooklets beach is located to the north of Summerleaze beach and is easily found by either walking north along the coast path for about 7 minutes or if you are in a car then if you pass through the centre of Bude and head out of the one way system at the top of Bude town centre, Crooklets is approximately 500 metres away.
WONDERFUL PLACE
“We had a lovely ten day stay. We were impressed by the coziness of the place and the lovely way it was decorated. The mattresses were amazing. It was very quiet and we didn’t hear a thing at all at night. It had everything we needed and was in a great location to explore north Cornwall. It was an easy five minute walk to the local pub/restaurant. Beautiful views and very relaxing. The local tips folder was very useful and we made good use of it.”

"A great place to stay. The bungalow was well stocked with utensils, cleaning products and coat hangers to name but a few. It was clean on arrival. All correspondence with Clare was simple, quick and helpful. Lovely view from the bungalow with a great grass space directly outside. The cream tea was delicious and beds were very comfy. Thanks so much for a fabulous place to stay."
